May Vacation, 2007 - 2

June 29th, 2007

More detailed pages for the May vacation have been constructed and added to a section named “Trips” at the end of the horizontal menu.

A direct link to the first (least interesting page) is here.

At the end of each page, there is a link to a Flickr “Slideshow” for all photos taken in that area. The Slideshows open up in a new window; when done just close window to get back to original page.

Below that link, is a link to the “Next in Series” page so that one does not have to go back to the “Trips” page to get to the next page.

Thanks to Nick Lethaby, Dave Compton, Mark Holmgren, Kyle Baunger for id assistance.

Lynn, you not only did a fantastic job of photographing and posting, but I also enjoyed all the extra links you added to each of the separate postings. Thank you so much for posting such an abundant amount of information. I do hope you enjoyed your vacation visiting this part of California. There sure are a lot of places I can visit within a couple hours drive. I think my favorite links were the California State Park links. I will be sure to check out those web sites before I visit those areas.

Thanks, Mary. I use the links too myself — after I have found them, I go back to them when looking up plant ids and other things. The next thing I need to do is make an Index on the site, so I don’t have to page through numerous articles to find something. This is like a living diary.

Yes, I did enjoy the visit to that part of California, which has some amazing wildlife areas.

    Thanks, DonnaV. Always curious.

Visited Seattle twice - loved it. Went on a boat trip on Puget Sound. Amazing area.

My posting is sporadic right now. Can’t wait to get back to photography, and more posts.
