					<description>I was hoping to go out this weekend for more fall colors, but I did not think I wanted to deal with high winds. One cannot even photograph in those conditions.

When we went to Aliso trail with Jan Timbrook, I saw no buckwheat; not like on Figueroa Mtn - but maybe we did not go far enough.  Aliso seemed to be very dry this year.</description>

					<description>There is often some beautiful red buckwheat on the Aliso Trail. I love the buckwheat when it turns red. We have such beautiful colors here in the fall. Subtle and muted in the most beautiful palette.</description>
